We bring practical expertise across operations, project management, and leadership, with a shared belief that people are at the center of every improvement—and that the best results come from clarity, collaboration, and steady progress toward your true north.
Susie Wentz, CEO
Susie Wentz is the CEO of ACIL Consulting, where she leads day-to-day operations and sets the firm’s strategic direction. She works behind the scenes to bring clarity, structure, and alignment to the work—ensuring ideas turn into execution.
Her background spans operations, strategy, sales, customer experience, and project leadership, with a consistent focus on building systems that scale and relationships that last. Susie is known for seeing both the big picture and the details that make it work.
In addition to ACIL, Susie is building a new chapter through A Change in Latitude Living, focused on helping individuals and families navigate meaningful transitions. She works closely with clients as they make big life decisions—listening carefully, guiding thoughtfully, and helping them find clarity and confidence as they move toward what’s next.
Susie is a mom, wife, and Army veteran who leads with faith and family at the center of her life. Outside of work, she can usually be found cheering on her son, traveling with her family, cycling, golfing, or enjoying time together at home.
Shane Wentz, COO & Lead Consultant
Shane Wentz is the Lead Consultant and COO at ACIL Consulting, where he partners closely with leaders and teams to improve execution, strengthen leadership, and build systems that work in the real world. His approach is collaborative, hands-on, and rooted in the belief that meaningful improvement starts with people.
A Master Black Belt, published author, and retired Army veteran, Shane brings experience across military, corporate, and consulting environments. He has supported improvement and transformation efforts for organizations including the U.S. Army, Nike, Siemens, and Amazon.
Shane is known for working side-by-side with teams—coaching leaders, modeling behaviors, and helping organizations turn strategy into sustained results.
Doug Vaughan, Consultant – Project Management
Doug Vaughan brings more than 30 years of experience leading complex initiatives across technology, cybersecurity, healthcare, manufacturing, and military environments. His work focuses on helping organizations plan, execute, and sustain meaningful change through disciplined project and program management, as well as coaching leaders and teams through delivery challenges.
A PMP-certified project management professional and former U.S. Navy officer, Doug has led large-scale program and portfolio efforts at organizations including Humana and GE Appliances. He is known for bringing clarity, structure, and follow-through to work in highly regulated and complex settings, while developing people and strengthening execution capability along the way.
Doug values faith, family, integrity, and service. Outside of work, he enjoys time with family, travel, drone photography, and classic comics.
Ernie Arboles, Consultant
Ernie Arboles is a seasoned continuous improvement consultant with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations simplify complexity and improve how work gets done. A Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business, he brings a pragmatic, results-focused approach to every engagement.
Ernie earned his Master Black Belt accreditation while helping launch GE’s Six Sigma program within NBC. Since then, he has partnered with organizations across technology, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing—helping leaders identify high-impact opportunities and build the capability to sustain improvement.
Ernie works closely with teams to create practical improvements that stick, always keeping people at the center of the work.
Tim Taylor, Consultant
Tim Taylor is a Certified Master Black Belt who helps organizations lead change and improve performance through disciplined, practical problem-solving. He brings deep experience across both public and private sector environments.
Tim has led continuous improvement initiatives through roles at Guidon Performance Solutions and Accenture, as well as in senior operations leadership roles with organizations such as Tesla (SolarCity) and Syncreon.
A former U.S. Navy aviator, Tim brings a strong execution mindset to his work. Outside of consulting, he enjoys riding his Harley and spending time with family.
Sophia Preci, Social Media Manager
Sophia Perci supports ACIL Consulting’s brand and digital presence by creating and managing the content shared across our social media platforms. She combines graphic design and short-form video to highlight the people, work, and values behind the ACIL brand.
Sophia is completing her degree in marketing at Florida Gulf Coast University, where she continues to grow her interest in creative strategy and business storytelling. Her passion for digital marketing developed through prior internship experience, where she gained hands-on exposure to content creation and audience engagement.
Outside of work, Sophia enjoys photography and spending time with family and friends.
